PRAYER WORKS This 99 th issue of the Grandparent Chronicles, we want to share one of the most personal and sacred experiences of my (Bruce’s) life. Some may have heard it before, some just have heard about it, but today, I want you to hear it from me. After my mission, I became infatuated with the girl down the street. When she called it quits, it broke my heart. In tearful prayer to God, He impressed upon my mind where I had gone wrong and how to proceed. I should date, get to know the girl and then fast and pray and go to the Temple if starting to get serious. Consequently, I took this approach on a few occasions and each time received the peace that the Temple can bring and a feeling to be patient.
